    If the light doesn't come on for your DVD during burning, make sure you have that drive selected. You may be burning to the image recorder, or just simulating a burn.

    In my Set parameters of the burn under burn to My DVD burn is selected and If I pick Image recorder does that make an ISO formated file. If so I should be able to burn my DVD with DVD Decrypter b/c that still works so does Alcohol 120%.

    It sounds like you have some setting like the image recorder set up. Here is alkohol's guide to using Nero. It will probably answer your question in there.
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/256436
    I looked thru his guide again, and i didnt see him using the image recorder, but thats not what you want to do if you want a burnt disc. Look thru that link, and see how he does it. Since your other programs work, its probably something in the way you are doing the movies that is causing the problem.
    If you still have problems after following the guide, post your last burn from your nero history file and I, or someone will look at it and tell you what nero says is wrong. BTW Imation uses some crappy suppliers for media. You may get a good spindle, but the next one could be crap, and you start having problems. It doesnt sound like the media is bad, but the log will report back any media errors.
    [bold]Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

    Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt[/bold]

    These things record all burns, and we only need the last one. The burns are seperated by something like this:

    [bold]--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ====== *** NeroAPI, History File *** ======

    Windows XP 5.1
    IA32-xxxx-xxxx-
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------[/bold]

    that was from a Nero 6 log, but 7 looks much like that. Underneath the divider is the operating system, and right below that is the begining of the serial number. When posting a log, just include the last burn log, and be sure to edit out your serial numbers by typing xxxx over them, or deleting them before posting to the forum.

    If i understand this correctly, the drive still burns fine with other programs but now doesnt with Nero only? A log will help find the answers to that one. Please post the log from the path listed as a vision log is in there also, and those dont report everything, and are a pain in the butt to read.. :)
