When I first got my ipod, I had no trouble with the music, but now I can't even get my ipod to charge. It's like my ipod and itunes can't connect to one another. I don't really know how else to explain it... Does anyone know of anything that could have happened? Or any way to fix this?

If you haven don't so already try another usb port on your pc and set the ipod to disk mode if the ipod is totally dead then you gonna have to leave it connected to the pc for a while eventually when the ipod have enought charge it will connect to itunes. Good Luck

    My suggestions:
Suggestion 1) Try a new USB port

Suggestion 2) Unplug the iPod cord COMPLETELY from everything. Separate it from your computer for AT LEAST 30 minutes.

Suggestion 3) Get an AC adapter for your iPod...they work nicely

    Suggestion 4) Restart your computer

Suggestion 5) Plug your iPod in and see if your computer can recognize it. If it does...
    >> 1. While iPod is plugged in, Startup iTunes (stop if that worked)
    >> 2. Close iTunes
    >> 3. Unplug iPod
    >> 4. Startup iTunes (stop if that worked)
    >> 5. Eat a ham sandwich

Suggestion 6) If none of those work...dare I say it? See if the iPod is recognized by another computer. If it is, uninstall and reinstall iTunes.

Suggestion 7) If suggestions 1-6 did not work...come back and tell us what happened.
