im using avi_io and cant capture from analog camera with any higher res then 352+240

    im trying to capture from camera with avi_io and seem to be having quite a few probs. some times i find that the prog doesnt capture some times but it does say at bottom capturing hit esacpe to stop but there is no framerate going up and when i chac the file after its about 4kb and dosnt play. all i wanna do is capture of my video camera with the highest res i can cos all i usually can do is 352+240 can ne one help please please please my setup is- 2.52 intel 4 processer, 512 ddr ram, mercury tv tuner card, thanks

    Is the camera capable of anything more than 352x240? (i.e., you're not talkign about a webcam here are you?)
