Why do my DVDs keep lagging when I watch my movies? The DVDs are fine. It's my computer. Machine name: imac g5 model: powermac8,2 cupu type powerpc g5 (3.0) CPU speed 2 ghz L2 cache 512kb memory 1.5gb bus speed 667 mhz boot rom veresion 5.2.5f1 The lagging is almost like the dvds are playing in slow framerate. Even when i have the dvds in img on my desktop and mount it, it still has the same problem.
Does it only do it on that movie? Also i would make sure that your system is up to date. Other than that just make sure your not encoding or ripping as it uses memory, processor and harddrive
