I have unzipped 4 files: vp1.ccd, vp1.sub, vp1.cue & vp1.IMG. I tried burning image on Nero, got the foreign image setting window, tried every combo, kept saying block size doesnt correspond to image length. Tried using CloneCD, it burns the ccd file as 1 track, mode 1 which my CD-Rom drive then cannot find. Tried CDMage, which will only open the image as Audio track (sec.size 2352), when burned, the drive can't run that either. Tried mounting in Daemon tools, but it did nothing. Tried updating firmware on CD-Drive to latest version (Yamaha CDRW 8424E) and still nothing. Tried converting with WinISo, but says image format not supported, also tried IsoBuster, again not supported. Tried renaming to .BIN, or .ISO, and opening in above programs, all failed. So, what do I do now?
thanks for the quick reply. On fireburner, I imported tracks from cuesheet and it loaded the IMG file as Mode 1/2352 sector size, 73 min length, just like in CDMage, as if it thought if was an audio track. I scanned it for corruption and it found 3 errors, saying I burn this file at my own risk. Still no joy.
The image was read by CloneCD with sub-q. Is this file a pc game and if so, what is the name of the game title? Shoey
Hi, thanks for the reply. It's not a game, it's Spectrasonics Vocal Planet (Cd1 of 6), a piece of musical sample software. I have to admit to not knowing what "sub-q" is, but CloneCD recognises the software from the CCD file, and I burned from that using write mode RAW:SAO&SUB, which burned, but then my drive couldnt read. The other CloneCD options are RAW:SAO and SAO and I'm open to help...
Hi, No option for DAO. On the CD Writer info window on CloneCD that option is not supported, which is presumably why its not an option. I'm a novice, but could the problem be that whoever encoded the software at source, made a mistake and as such all my software assumes that I have an audio track when I clearly have an application? And therefore, will I ever be able to successfully burn this to CD?
