Just out of curiosity shankly, can you right click on that Jpeg file and "save as" a .cbm file? OR copy the file with another name then change the file extension to .cbm rather than .Jpeg did this work or help out any?

What I manage to decipher from that is as follows..

file extension CBM - Bitmap picture; XLib ... file extension CBM - XLib compiled bitmap image

I think cbm stands for either "compiled bitmap" or "canon bitmap"

so anyways.. gimp or gimpshop will save as xlib format, then just change the extension to cbm ;)
Worst that can happen is it doesn't work... damn cameras and their stupid formats..

Just out of general interest.. are you trying to put pictures on to the camera to then use a camera type printer?
