I was wondering if i can transfer my games from my pc to the xbox.I have iso's of games, you see my xbox quit reading disks about a month ago.I
have an Executor 2 mod in,.I have no problem connecting to the xbox or transferring files to it. just wondering if i need to do anything to the iso or if it is even possible. I didnt see any tutorials on this, just on transfering from xbox to pc then rebuilding the iso and burning to disk.I would appreciate any help

    Here's the deal:
You will see xbox games in two different formats with the exception of the game disc. First, is an .iso file. Second is the game folder containing the game files. The later is the way they are in your xbox once transfered via FTP.
Now, if you use a program like Flash FXP to transfer a game from your xbox to PC it will look like the second description I gave once completed. Tha game folder can also be edited prior to re/creating an .iso for backup. For example, when I back up my Halo2 I had to delete the credits from the game folder because it was too big for a standard DvD-R disc. Once that folder is inside your PC you can use a program like QWIX to create an .iso with the game folder and in turn burn that .iso to disc. QWIX will also (once queued) will extract that same .iso in a transfer back to the xbox.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you, I transfered the iso with qwix and it worked. I did have to run a file in the darkwatch directory I think it was a xbe file, not sure, something that updated the dash or online update something like that. I was just clicking on the files so im not sure,i was wondering if you have to do that with all the games. Thanks again

No, you don't. At least I haven't. I don't own Darkwatch so I wouldn't know specifically for that game. Glad I could help though.
