ok i think i got this virus over msn!! please help! ok so my anti virus is Bitdefender plus v10 and it seems to have picked up many viruses from my PC... "trojan downloader" etc.. i think there was 5 all in all. Also the locations that bitdefender poited to when showing these viruses were all in the place and nealry the same file? here is were it is... C:\Documents and Settings\Touran\Local Settings\Temp and it kep pointing to these two files: TFR6A.tmp and TFRB6.tmp I have tryed to manually delte these files but it it says cannot read or write to disc or something. i have tryed to use the "unlocker" program to unlock the files but to no avail. now here is my hijackthis log and i hop some one can help me with my problem. thank you! boot your computer into safe mode and attempt to delete the files. to reach safe mode you would tap the f8 key during a computer restart, chose the first option from the list: safe mode. you added those entries to your host file? does that bit defender suite include a anti-malware scanner? echoreply
unless you practice safe hex a anti-malware app is needed along with your antivirus. i would get one of the following: superantispyware Avg antispyware Spybot search and destroy Lavasofts Ad aware download, install update and scan with one of the above. echoreply
