ok< i've been looking for an answer on how to play imbNES on the PS2. I've searched through this site's forums and the forums on ps2ownz.com but i have not been able to find a straight answer.
I found something somewhere that say's you need to treat playing the cd-r with imbNES like playing a ps1 back-up. But I own no ps1 games, since the ps2 was the first Sony system i purchased and have no way of trying to figure out how to play a burned ps1 back-up on my ps2.
In short, how do I go about playing imbNES on PS2 using Swap Magic. Please some one help.

Use Gameshark for PS1 to play your ps1 backups as well as the imbnes games...works fine here...

I think you might be out of luck
I tried imbnes on a v7 W/magic 3.1 and it would only show the disk icon on the screen as a ps2 game and would not load
I tried using swap method with GS on an unmodded ps2 with no luck
the only way I got it to work was with a v9 w/dms3
I put the system into psx mode during startup and the imbnes with rombank list loaded perfectly.

fly_low, as I said, I've used the gameshark for psx and my psx backups work just fine. Boot with the gameshark, choose 'start game' and 'without codes' and then swap it out with your backup via fliptop and hit X twice...your good to go...
