IMEI QUESTION ? ?

    Any way i can change the imei number on my 6230i, because when i use my samsung i get signal n when i use my nokia no signal at all thanks Jamie

    Not recommended because if caught, could result in jail time. It requires hardware worth $400.00 or better to do so. New phone might be cheaper.

    Maybe it's legal in your area to change IMEI #'s assigned to each and every individual phone but I highly doubt it. It's your decision to pay the 50 to them if you wish. What would happen if they gave you an IMEI# that was already assigned to another phone?
    If you do get it changed and it works out ok, please come back and let us know.

    When i put a virgin sim card in i get signal but, says calls aint been aloud to this number any idea's ?

    Maybe the 6230 needs to be unlocked to work with Virgin

    It was on t-mobile when i got it 2days ago, i enterd the restriction code, which worked so i used it on 02, and now i cant get signal on my o2 simcard on the nokia, but can on the samsung. Also if i try to ring the virgin simcard on my samsung it works. Thanks Jamie

    I am pretty sure the 6230 has been reported lost or stolen and is now blacklisted from all networks.
