I have one other concern, I just bought this new Samsung burner yesterday and when I use a DVD DL to burn 360 games I set it to 2.4x but it still burns the disc at 4.1 x no matter how I change the settings in Imgburn. Will this not let my backed up 360 not to work? Please let me know if I have to change certain settings. I have a Samsung SH-S222A.

    Thank you very much

sounds like your burner dosn't support that speed. if the game works you are good to go, just make sure you are using verbs. if it dosn't post back.

I have a new Pioneer DVD burner using 2.4x Verbs and I'm having a similar issue...it gets to about 1.4 and then dies down to 1.0x and will go back and fourth between 1.0x and 1.3x...very strange..

Is there any issue with the buffer while burning?

I see it max out and empty many times...I'm not sure what "normal" is though..but it rises to 100% and then empties...I probably need to do more reading and make sure I have it configured properly.

    3ghz p4 HT processor
    1gb of ram
    windows xp sp2
Sata Pioneer DVD drive with latest firmware (I believe latest)

    OP--

your games will work fine if they are burnt at 4x. as homesick stated, your discs probably do not support 2.4x burning.

    Joe--
i would get some more ram, as that is probably your problem. dump another gig or 2 in it. ram is cheap anyways, check out tigerdirect, or newegg.

i appologize to the op as this is totally off topic, but speaking of buying ram and saving money, the site "tiger direct" that wabashmanmetioned, i just bought a 700$ gps the price amazon.com and several others have it listed for, for 100$ refurbished. they are a good site to work with.

Some problems with tigerdirect is that they don't always boldly announce its refurbished and sometimes their shipping prices
can be high....just from my observations.
