Very recently I have encountered "Failed to Write Sectors 32 - 63 - Logical Unit is in process of becoming ready" when I burn the dvds I have on my computer to a verbatim 16x white inkjet printable dvd-r using the queue feature. I love to use this feature because if I am not around, its easy for my mom to follow. Ive searched through the internet and didnt find anything that really helped me out. Does anyone here have anything helpful? Im using the same plextor716uf drive for all burns and all burns are going at 8x. Everything stays the same. Any ideas?
I can only suggest you go to the Imgburn forum and post a log of the failed burn. There are experts there that will help (one inparticular actually wrote the program)
Hello fly. Is your firmware up to date? The latest for that burner is Version 1.09 as of October 2005. http://www.plextor.com/english/support/downloads/firm_716.htm You may need to revert to older 8X media if your burner can't burn the newer 16X stuff.
