Im trying to burn a back up game to a Verbatim DVD+R dual layer and I keep getting an "I/O error" I use ImgBurn. Im just not sure what Im doing wrong, weathers its the dvd drive or what help pleaseee
lakers72, Some more info is definitely needed to supply feedback. Is the I/O error coming from the computer or the game console? What type of Optical Drive are you using? Which Verbies are you using, MKM 001 I'm guessing but you could be using MKM 003, which are just fine btw. What speed are you trying to burn at? Most DL media prefers something around 4x but you may have to burn at 2.4x to ensure a readable disc for you console. Please supply all the info you can and we'll try to help you. tia.. ....gm
the i/o is coming from the computer, like on ImgBurn, the error pops up when its trying to verify the disc. But its like 50-50... sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt and im not sure what verbatim discs I have. I bought them from bestbuy? so idk haha and i set the write speed to 8x because thats what it says on the disc? oh and im not sure what optical drive i have either

alright ill try that but I've read other places that you have to close all programs and all that and thats what i do every time... but i guess ill try the lower write speed. just wondering... but why would the write speed be messing it up?
