imitation disc's

    ive been using these dvd+r's i got from walmart, i havent had a problem. I was wondering how long the life of movies are on these disc's. they are 8x, i burn in 6x.

    Well cajundog Imitation is not known as good media. So depending on who made them will depend on how they they will last. Problems can happen sooner than later - who knows how long they were sitting around before you purchased them. I had some cmc that 1 month later were degrading. Run these discs thru a dvd identifer and post back the manufacturer id. If you need one here's a link:
