import problems from sony recorded DVD

    I,m learning to do digital editing . I have several DVDs I need to import into my HP but can not get them in because Vista , or Roxio or Pinnacle will not read . I guess it's an issue with Sony .If any one can help I would greatly appreciate it

    Was the disk finalized in the recorder.
