Importing a HDD

    Hi i have a pal v9 ps2 and i was wondering if i could import a hdd from japan or the us and use it on my ps2?
    but i don't have a mod-chip so will my ps2 still read the install disk and the final fantisy disk?

    You will have to use either the knife trick,flip-top, or a solderless mod to get the install disc to run properly.
