I've had my mac for almost two years, but have been using a windows program for all my photos. I've recently started using iphoto and have two questions:
    1) is there some way to only import certain pics off of my camera? right now, it is all or none. so if i already imported some of the pics and haven't deleted them off my camera, then they get imported again. i would like to select pics that i want imported.

    2) is there a way to print pics on a blank page. on my pc program (i use camedia master), i am able to select different page set ups where i can put different pics on a sheet and print it. I can set it up to print 4 different 4by6 photos on the same page. on iphoto, it seems that you can do that but with only one pic - it will print a sheet of the same pic. is there a setting that i need to change?

    Thanks for your help

    Ok

Iphoto won't let you print multiples on one sheet you need a application like photoshop to place them on a single page or aperture.

and if you Dont want the images to copy to the computer delete them off of your camera before you download them.

If you don't want to do this.

    there is another option.

    go to system pref.

    select cd/dvd

and set the picture cd setting to ignore.

Then every time you connect a memory card it wont auto launch iphoto and start downloading.

Also you could purchase Crossover for mac and just run camedia master on your mac or just use the mac version of camedia master which should be on the cd you used to install it.
