Improving PC

    I am trying to upgrade my PC to one that is better for gaming, performance, etc. Should I upgrade any of my PC parts to make my computer "ultimate" for gaming and performance? Here are my specs:

    Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Formula Special Edition
    Video Card: EAH3870 x2 512MB Crossfire
    RAM: 4 GB
    OS: Windows Vista Home Edition 32-bit SP2
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 3.01 GHZ (Overclocked)
    Hard Drive: Hitachi 500GB 7200RPM
    Monitor: Acer X223w 22"
    Sound Card: Sound FX2

    Is this what you already have or what you're getting? The parts are all excellent except for the monitor.

    Yes, those are all the parts I have now. I am trying to upgrade my PC to the "Ultimate" gaming system. Which parts must I upgrade? Thanks!

    if you want gaming, wait until the new ATi 4800 series is released.

    Can you give me the specifications of the ATI 4870 and the release date in Canada? Also, should I get the ATI 4870 or ATI 4870 X2. Are they compatible with my system? Thanks!
