Hey guys. Recently copied a load of VHS tapes to my pc but the quality is pretty crap. Is there anyway/ program that I can get that will 'clean' up these files? I know that I won't get digital quality given that the source medium is poor, but I'd be grateful for any advice that you may have.

    Cheers

Gonna have a wee flick thru that site and see if I can find what I'm looking for. Hopefully I'll get some answers. :)

    OK.
If you have access to a DV camera with pass-through capability, I would strongly recommend that option. I have gotten my best results doing that.
But your previous statement is accurate: the source is VHS so it will not be the quality that you can reach with DV.
