In the guide 'Convert DivX To VCD with Subtitles' you don´t say how to add the subtitles!!!

    You only say to put the avi and srt files in the same directory and after u only explain how to separate audio from video and then encoding the audio, FORGETING the SUBTITLES!!!
    So, i can the subtitles can be added to the divx file???

    If you get the subtitles to play in Windows Media Player so that FFDSHOW or similiar kicks in as a DirectShow Filter, the TMPGEnc then loads the video similiarly if you change the TMPGEnc VFAPI settings as described in the guide (by putting the DirectShow decoding as the top priority). This way, the video goes through DirectShow filters -- in this case, through your subtitle filter, whether it is VobSub or FFDSHOW or DivXG400 -- before it is feeded to the TMPGEnc which then encodes the material to VCD/SVCD.
