I've installed Nero 7.10.1.0 and found a problem with InCD. Apparently it works fine with my NEC DVD_RW ND-1300A, but it totally locks up with my ASUS CD-S480/AH; any process referencing that drive (F just freezes. If I temporarily rename the Registry Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\UpperFilters containing "InCDpass InCDrm" and Reboot, the CD Player works fine. Of course since the CD and the DVD share that key, now InCd doesn't work. Also, my "Safe Mode" now does a (B)lue (S)screen (O)f (D)eath, which I am suspicious of, since InCd was the culprit many releases ago and was fixed later. Has anybody run into this problem?
I un-installed InCd. The problem went away (the CD Player now works). I re-installed InCd and it locked up again. I also tried removing 'InCDrm' from the UpperFilters Key in the Registry; rebooted; it locked up. So it appears that the old problem is back where InCDpass is not passing control to Microsoft's default routines for non InCd requests. Nero can this be fixed again like last time?
