I recently softmodded my xbox using the tutorial on this site ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/311710 ) and i have to say, its an excellent tutorial for begginers, it really explaines everything you need to do however, on one of the final steps to installing the softmod, it tells me to take the splinter cell cd out, then reboot, once this is done, one more step will have to be completed before your softmod is installed. i get to this step, eject splinter cell, but before i can remove the splinter cell cd, the dvd tray closes again, which then reboots the xbox, but with splinter cell still inside, this then takes me to the incomplete softmod screen. when installing the softmod, i chose to install unleach x, as recommended for less experienced modders. so i was surprised to find, when exploring my xbox hdd from the incomplete softmod dash, i found a file, in the directory E:/wait/evoxdash.xbe now when i select this item, it takes me to the fully completed UNLEASH X dash. this got me thinking, to complete my softmod, would the only thing i need to do is to rename this file from evoxdash.xbe to unleashxdash.xbe? thanks for your help
