I acquired a SVCD and did all the extracting, etc. The movie plays fine (there are about 3 different ways I've played it) the thing is though, the movie only plays for about 12 minutes and then closes whatever media player I'm using.

I even tried using ISObuster to drag the mpeg file out and it still does it. No matter what I do I can't seem to get a full movie. Please help.

    Thanks.

Well the File on the SVCD could simply be Corrupted in which case there is nothing you can really do...

I backed up my 400 movie SVCD Collection to DVD a while back and about 10% of the Disks had this Problem...
SVCD"s and VCD disks have no error correction in them so if they get burned at too high of a speed or on Low quality Disks then there is a Chance the files on the Disks will get corrupted....

You might be able to salvage the files useing something like "Bad Copy Pro" to extract the Mpeg files which will give you the option of Copying the error or filling the Bad data with Zero"s....

ALso have you tried useing DVD Playing software to Watch the Files?? Something like "WinDVD" or "PowerDVD" is far better than Media Player...
You might also see if you can get "DVD2AVI" to read the Whole file....

    Well good Luck
