Hi all. Hope someone can give me some insight. I have been more involved the the downloading of movies from the net. I use VSO DivxToDvd to convert. I them use nero to burn using pioneer 108 with latest firmware and am using Tayio Yudens.-Authentic. Some movies which I convert and burn are mint while others will give me a message when disc is inserted into dvd player "incorrect disc". It will play in my computer but not in stand alone dvd player. Is there a reason for some of these not playing for me? If someone else has info or can relate to my issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time......Cheers

    Hi there,

Based on what you said, here's what I think is the problem.

You have a PAL (25fps).avi file, and when converted, you did NOT tell DivxToDVD to convert it to NTSC (29.97fps).

And because your DVD is 25fps, your DVD player probably doesn't like it.

You live in North America ? (NTSC)

In DivxToDVD, regarless of the input file PAL/NTSC, you can/should always FORCE it to NTSC ! (If you live in america of course).

If your country uses PAL, then it's the same problem, just vice versa, convert NTSC files to PAL :)
