Incorrect Memory

    i have recently received an iPod video 30GB for my birthday. It says there is 30GB but there is in fact only 27.8 GB. Is this normal or should i enquire to apple? I mean why is there over 2GB missing?!?!?!?! its riddiculous!

    this is B-coz the 2 gb is used up by things that make the ipod run

    Not true. As stated above, it is the way manufacturers interepret bytes differently from how PC's do.
