I ran across an old thread here (Google Search)where members were discussing the "incorrect parameter" error when copying data from a DVD. Being that it was an older thread and that I'm a new mwmber, I wasn't able to answere that thread (newbies cannot answere threads over 60 days old). Therefor I hope the information I'll give here will be of use to someone. I too was recieving that same error while trying to "copy" 25 avi's from a data dvd. All went fine with the first 17.... but then I got that error message. What to do ? Well, I had an older copy of "ISOBuster" installed om my computer(v2.2.0.1), a program I've hardly ever used.Since nothing else had worked I decided to see if it could extract those avi's. Much to my relief, it did. I loaded the disc into my DVD drive, highlighted the "problem" avi's, right clicked and chose "extract" from the menu. After about 5 minutes the files were residing on my hard drive. So if anyone else is having this problem too then maybe they should give this a try. It worked for me. Thanks for listening. bern1
