Hey all, I've got an older DVD that I want to increase the sound on. For some reason, the audio on the original DVD is really soft. I have Nero 6 and a host of other programs. I am wondering how to isolate the audio and increase the levels to make the audio a normal level. Thx.

Just demux the audio and use any audio editing program to increase the volume level then just encode it back to ac3 or what ever format you want.I would just open the video in VirtualDubMod then go to Stream ->Stream List make sure you select Full Processing Mode. Then Rightclick and select Volume.Check Adjust Volume of audio channels. Then just encode it to wav then convert it to ac3 or whatever.
