hi people, my question is i want to know if Imation 52X CDR and Sony 48X CDR which made by india is good or not? >i check imation website and i found that 48X is the last speed of CDR they made (EU Made),but here i can see many imation slim and cakebox made india in 52X,when i tried to check the cd manufactorie in Alcohol,it display me "media can't be detect" ( i thought it would be CMC,but its not)(these three points made and speed and manufactorie let me think if it is original or not) >but about indian sony cds can be detect...i wonder about Sony i can find same cd and cover design on three made (India,Hong Kong & France ,but Japan made are under Taiyo yuden manufacto.),if u will wonder about why im focus on this indian sony cd...the reason is becuase it easily to be avalibility nowaday. my question is...is those cds are good or not (Indian made),only about Sony 48x & imation 52x. I was given a spindle of Memorex 52X made by Moser Baer of India and I wasn't impressed with them at all. Even when burned slow in my Plextor Premium the C1/C2 error rate was unacceptable to me.
hi Nephilim i heard that moser baer made also MMORE cds,i don't use memorex anymore, but im asking about Imation and Sony only... you know... i have question for you..is it advisable to burn @ slower speed like 8X or less,and what is the reason i should prefer slow burning and for what i mean like mp3 cds or games or video or whatever... i can't get anything if i don't saw/read many reviews.
Basically what I'm saying is that the Indian made media is low quality. If you can't even get an ATIP off it I'd definitely avoid buying them again. I don't think burning at 8X is a necessity for data and audio. I usually stick to 24X for quality media and 12X for the junk if I end up with some. Protected PC games are an entirely different story and should be burned at 4X

well when ATIP become little bit big is that good,u know imation and sony differnt in ATIPin in minute and frame? less frames and minutes is good or not,explain the point
btw...i found sony cd-r also made in other contry , now its from taiwan.... so now there are four mades:India,France,Hong Kong,Taiwan (the problem is that they all same by design and look).
As I stated before, they're junk and not worth the money. I'm not sure what other answer you're looking for. For important data I'd recommend going with the best - Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DataLifePlus.
