You got that right! Do the following and provide me with some Logs so we can clean it up. That may take a while so don’t get discouraged.. First let’s see if we can clear some of the Trojans: Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop. Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan. • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. <-- Don't forget this. • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt • Please post the MBAM Log and a fresh HJT log in your next reply. 2oG

I wanted to add a little commentary if you don't mind. I was instructed by a friend since I needed help desperately and quickly to post at another site, but as the site is under construction the person in question PM'd me back. I've used MWB as indicated and then ran combofix at his instruction. I want to show the process and progress on both sites but as the other one is on the rise I'll just do it here. I thank you for your help 2oldGeek... please continue to do so as I need to get this computer out of me home... lol. I don't want it infecting any of mine. I hope you don't find this upsetting or out of sorts with the normal helping procedure. Thanks again for getting back and HELPING this learning AV fighter. Sincerely, ....the GM

GM, Most dedicated malware removal sites do not like you to double post for help and will kick you out if they find your log posted on another site.. That’s because “Too many cooks can spoil the pudding” – I have been involved with these sites and know their procedures…. Not the case here. I will give my best evaluation of the logs you present to me and “Let the chips fall where they may”, lol Running ComboFix was a good thing and that would have been my next request.. From the Logs, there are just a few Traces that need to be addressed in order to make sure you are clear and then a few suggestions to prevent the re-infection with this many Trojans… Download and Run OTMoveIt3 Download OTMoveIt3 by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop. • Double-click OTMoveIt3.exe. • Copy the lines in the quote box below. • Return to OTMoveIt3, right click in the Paste Instructions for Items to be Moved window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste. • Click the red Moveit! button. • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar), and paste it in your next reply. • Close OTMoveIt3 Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update. Please go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove and for now remove ALL versions of JAVA Then run this tool to help cleanup any left over Java Remove Old Java using JavaRa Download JavaRa and unzip it to your desktop. ***Please close any instances of Internet Explorer before continuing!*** • Double-click on JavaRa.exe to start the program • From the drop-down menu, choose English and click on Select • JavaRa will open; click on Remove Older Versions to remove the older versions of Java installed on your computer • Click Yes when prompted. When JavaRa is done, a notice will appear that a logfile has been produced. Click OK • A logfile will pop up. Save it to a convenient location • Click on Additional Tasks then tick Remove Useless JRE Files • Click Go then OK when prompted & close the program. Update Java Runtime • Go to http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp • Scroll down to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 13 and click on the Download button • In the Platform box choose Windows • Check the box to Accept License Agreement and click Continue • Click on Windows Offline Installation, click on the link under it which says "jre-6u13-windows-i586-p.exe" and save the downloaded file to your desktop • Install the new version by running the downloaded file with the Java icon & follow the on-screen instructions • Reboot your computer Some Tips to prevent re-invection. One of the easiest ways to be infected is to download freeware/shareware programs which come laden with malware - this includes allowing websites to install browser plug-ins or ActiveX controls. Install --> SpywareBlaster SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of many so-called spyware, adware and malware programs by disabling the CLSIDs of popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage. This allows you to run Internet Explorer with Active-X enabled, but it will never download or even prompt you for any of the known Bad ActiveX controls. All other Active-X controls or plug-ins will work fine. The SpywareBlaster database contains information on these known spyware Active-X controls and can be updated with the click of a button. The application windows displays a list of all controls that it is able to detect (this is not a list of what was found on your computer). The program cannot detect if you have any of the known objects already installed, but if you do, they will be disabled. SpywareBlaster is passive protection. It plugs the holes that spyware and other potentially unwanted software use to get in to your system. As such, there is no running process - and no CPU and memory usage either. All you have to do is remember to update SpywareBlaster once a week, and enable the latest protection. Note: After installation, SpywareBlaster is not running and you never hear anything out of it; therefore it’s easy to neglect the updates. Since I tend to forget it, I have scheduled a Task to run it every Wed. and when it pops up, I simply update it and then close it.. 99% of all threats have one thing in common - they are set to execute from one or more of the "Run" keys in the Registry. To protect against these; HIPS functions give you the ability to stop all unrecognized programs from running on your computer unless you say so, making it possible to protect yourself against Zero day new attacks. Of course known, safe programs will be allowed to run, no problem. This is different to a pure Antivirus program - these let any program run, unless they know it is a virus. This means that it must have that exact threat in its database before it can do anything about it. Your antivirus will completely ignore programs it does not recognize - which unfortunately includes new viruses. Install --> Comodo BOClean protects your computer against trojans, malware and other threats. It constantly scans your system in the background and intercepts any recognized trojan activity. The program can ask the user what to do, or run in unattended mode and automatically shutdown and remove any suspected trojan application. Comodo BOClean currently supports more than 70,000 malware items and offers automatic daily updates. Other features include updating via network share, tamper protection and stealth mode. Antivirus software frequently fails to detect, and more often fails to effectively clean most malware. BOClean runs automatically in the background without interfering with your work and kills malwares INSTANTLY the moment they activate without giving them the chance to invade your machine. BOClean also eliminates the need to stop what you're doing to secure your machine after it's too late. BOClean works with all versions of Windows. Unlike antivirus programs, BOClean will actually shut them down and destroy them without the need for you to seek out the method of removal or risking dangerous editing of your system's innermost configurations. BOClean requires no technical skills and handles detection, removal and repair of your system automatically. Hope this helps, Post the OTMoveIt Log and a fresh HJT and I’ll check it over.. 2oG
