    Hi again caliph. You got some infections

    Download and install Ewido to your computer -> http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
    Update it but do NOT run a scan yet.

    Cleaning instructions

    Download smitrem to your desktop >
    http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/click counter/click.php?id=1
    Doubleclick it and press Start, smitrem folder appears to the desktop.

    Restart your computer to the safe mode (Press F8 button when computer is starting and choose safe mode)

    Run HijackThis and fix these entries (if found): (Do a system scan only, check entries, close all other windows, press Fix checked)

    F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=explorer.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe"
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Shell] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00001.exe"
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Windows installer] C:\winstall.exe

    Make your hidden files visible:
    ->On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
    ->Click the View tab.
    ->Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

    Delete this file:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\-->ibm00001.exe

    Then go to the smitrem folder on your desktop
    -> Run file RunThis.bat and follow instructions.

    Then run a scan with Ewido and clean what it finds, save a logfile.

    That trojan you had on your computer turns antivirus off. Try to restart/enable your Norton again.

    Restart your computer normally.

    Post these to here:
    -> New HijackThis log
    -> Ewido's log
    -> C:\smitfiles.txt log

    Is there no smitfiles.txt in C:\ ?

    Hmm, Your log is clean but, your Norton is still disabled. Did you try to restart/enable it? Or have you uninstalled it?

    If you can't restart it, it must be re-installed.

    IF YOU have UNINSTALLED Norton, do this:

    Donwload and a firewall and one antivirus. Don't install yet.

    These are good (free) firewalls:
    ZoneAlarm --> http://www.zonelabs.com
    Kerio--> http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio.cfm
    Outpost-> http://www.agnitum.com

    These are good (free) antiviruses:
    AVG Antivirus --> http://www.grisoft.com
    Avast --> http://www.avast.com

    When downloads are finished, unplug your internet cable.

    Then:
    Open Notepad.

    -> Copy the following lines to it

    sc stop ccEvtMgr
    sc delete ccEvtMgr
    sc stop ccPwdSvc
    sc delete ccPwdSvc
    sc stop ccSetMgr
    sc delete ccSetMgr

    Save the document to the desktop as ServicesRemove.bat and FILE TYPE -> All Files

    Then go to the desktop, run ServicesRemove.bat and answer yes to any questions.

    Then install firewall and antivirus that you downloaded earlier.

    Put your internet cable back.

    Restart your computer.

    Post a new HijackThis log.

    Windows firewall is not good enough. And you must have an antivirus.

    Follow the steps to remove the remainings of Norton (in my earlier message)

    Donwload and a firewall and one antivirus.

    These are good (free) firewalls:
    ZoneAlarm --> http://www.zonelabs.com
    Kerio--> http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio.cfm
    Outpost-> http://www.agnitum.com

    These are good (free) antiviruses:
    AVG Antivirus --> http://www.grisoft.com
    Avast --> http://www.avast.com

    Your computer is not gonna stay clean without a proper firewall and antivirus.
