    ...specifically a SONY DSC-W5. The camera takes wonderful stills BUT when I take short videp clips the camera lately has been going in and out of focus. When I emailed SONY tech support they told me to go to pg 52 of my manual for instructions to initialize. Here is what is written:

    OK--------------------------------> See following proceedure
    Cancel---------------------------> Cancels the setting

    (1) Select [OK] with UP on the control button, then press dot
    (2) Select [OK] with the UP, then press dot.
    The setting are reset to the default setting.

    This make no sense to me as try as I did I never saw "OK" at any time on the control button or result of pushing the UP arrow. I emailed SONY back and they told me to call their tech support for $30 charge.

    Can someone dicipher these instructions to me or simply tell me how to initialize a digital camera. I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks and Happy Holiday

    If you have a camera shop close by-drop in & ask the friendly camera guy -"how do I"
