I am trying to burn onto a Memorex DVD+R 8x disk using a LITE-ON COMBO LTC -48161H DVD ROM using the following appz DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink 3.17, and ImgTool Classic 0.91.2. I am reading the following inside DVD Decrypter, "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)" I am also getting the following prompt when selecting the Output File using ImgTool Classic 0.91.2 "Please insert a disk into drive" I have not listed the drive per its letter is irrelevent. I do have a disk in the drive. The type of disk is mentioned above. My question is, Why am I having this problem? I should mention I am able to watch DVDs on this drive. Another question I have is, Will I be able to burn a DVD once the drive recognizes it has a blank DVD in it?
I'm sorry, but the model number of the Lite-on drive you listed shows that it is a 48x24x48 cd-rw + 16x dvd-rom combo and you can not burn to a DVD+R on a DVD-ROM drive. You have to have a DVD+R Burner for that. The only thing that you could burn with that drive would be a VCD, SVCD, or DIVX.
