When I try to install Nero 5.5.10 on my computer I get the following message: "The installation has detected that some of your systemfiles are outdated. In order to update these files the installation has to reboot your computer. The installation will continue after the reboot." After I reboot I get the following message: "The installation couldn't update your system files please get the latest updates for your operating system from Microsoft and afterward retry to install Nero-Burning Rom." I have downloaded and installed all of the updates (critical and non-critical) for Windows 98 (my operating system) from the Microsoft web-site. Can someone PLEASE help me install this software. Thank you
I had the same problem with win2k buf after upgrading it worked correctly... maybe you could try a different version of Nero? 5.5.9.9 or 5.5.10.x? Sorry, I'm not Ahead and seems no one here has ever had a similar problem.. and I suppose nothing is on Ahead's site
