Since you want Linux on a floppy i take it your looking for a Live version? if so check this link out, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/261246
for a floppy distribution i use: Boot Everywhere Linux... here is a link with lotsa distros (havnt quite had time to sort): http://www.linuxhq.com/dist.html hope this helps..
Why don't you just burn it onto a dvd. Just download the linux iso, then burn it onto a dvd. Then restart your computer and it should automatically boot from the dvd, if it doensn't just just go to bios and change the booting drive. I found the dvd more convient than the floopy.
wow your very smary arent you, if this laptop had a cd drive it would use it. Dont you think. Besides i dont have a drive for this laptop and wanted a linux on a floppy. P1224nT

yesssss.... Ok you just simply get a floppy with the FTP shizzle on as said earlier, and install from net. otherwise try going to google.. and typing linux floppy disk images. that should give you Loads of different distro's including live and bootable.
