Installed Nero7 and DVD player stopped reading

    I installed Nero7 today and now I cannot play any dvd movies on my computer. I have tried using Intervideo and Windows Media Player but they cannot detect the disk either. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Is that all you installed?
    Did you upgrade or install anything else?
    Is your drive internal or external?

    That is all that was installed. The drive is internal. It was working fine prior to installing Nero7.

    I tried VLC and received the following;
    Unable to open 'dvdsimple://E:'

    Any other tips?
