Installed windows 7 on Sony Vaio..now problems with dvd playback

    I have a sony vaio laptop that I just installed windows 7 on and also installed power dvd 10 but whenever I put in a dvd power dvd crashes. The only program that seems to play dvd's in VLC media player. Any idea on why power dvd crashes. I have all windows updates installed and went to the vaio update and can't seem to find any answers.

    check with powerdvd manufacturer for patches, updates & faq in relation to powerdvd 10 & win7.

    Everything seems to be up to date. Still searching for a solution.
