installing a mm3 ps1 chip?

I'm going to install a mm3 chip in my psone scph-101 but I was wondering if anyone knew any good faqs or really good diagram for it?

I heard a lot more bad things about that not working right than using a modchip..the mm3 only cost 9 dollars from euroasia and im going to have someone install it for 20
