Installing Alcohol 120

    Hi,

    I have just downloaded the latest version of Alcohol 120 and tried to install it.
    The install process is telling me that i have an old version installed.Would you like to remove or update, i pick update then it tells me it can not find the files"trial_setup.msi"
    I have looked everywhere to try and find the files even in regedit.

    what the hell is going on

    please help.

    Hi Rope321, Editing your registry manually, can have dire consequences. If I may suggest, using Crap Cleaner will delete useless reg keys harmlessly. Before running CCleaner, make a backup of your registry..just in case.

    Installing 120% now should pose no problems.

    Hi Onya,

    Thanks for the advise i tried it but still no good.

    I installed and ran crap cleaner but Alcohol still tells me i have an old version on my system and when it goes to remove the old version it can not find "trial_setup.msi"
