Installing applications to iphone 3GS (I'm extremly new)

    I just got iphone 3GS version 3.1 and I've no idea how it works, so I downloaded some games that are in ipa format. I synced it via itunes but there was an error so can anyone help me out, the only thing I know is that my iphone has cydia which I've no idea what it is.

    I believe he havent jailbreak his Iphone
