I upgraded to Vista recently. But since the upgrade I have lost USB 2.0 and my on board ethernet has stopped working. I've searched the internet I tried everything I could find, but still no luck. I'm sure its a driver problem, I just don't know what to do. I've reinstalled the drivers for the board and also tried downloading the newest drivers and installing them. The computer seems not to recognize an ethernet port in existence (no indication of new hardware when I plug or unplug the cable, no ethernet listed on the device manager).

    Im using a Shuttle AN35(N)-Ultra/AN35(N)-400.

    Any suggestions?

I spent all day looking for an answer. I post my question here, and sure enough, I figured it out.

Vista does not support the nForce2 chipset. Ugh.
