Hi i have a little problem a game ive backed up a game to my pc that has been scratched beyond use, i dont have a modded xbox so i cant burn another copy, However i have a DATEL XPORT [hard-drive -> PC transfer device] so i was wondering if anybody knows how / if its possible to install it to the HDD using my pc and the XPORT

[im guessing by just packaging the files from the DVD in such a way that the xbox reconises that its installed to the harddrive]

this way i can just use the orignal damaged DVD just to start the game from the HDD

[the 360 registers the game but its damaged in such a way that it cant be installed to the HDD using the xbox or run without the "disk is damaged" thing appear]

    Thanks in advance

Why?, My Halo 3 Disk is almost completely unreadable, but because i installed it to a harddrive before the disk died, it works fine. The xbox just checks to see if the disk is valid then gives the ok to run from the HDD

Ah that's because its a really obscure game, and know-body I know owns a copy, I don't play it that often it just bugs me that since the disk is now broken I cant use it.
