Been searching this site along with the internet for a solution to this problem, but not achieving the desired effect.

I recently got a cheap Bluetooth dongle for my PC so I can upload files to my LG CU400 phone instead of downloading them via internet upload service. The software that came with the dongle is BlueSoliel 1.6.1.4.

I set up the software fine and was able to find my phone within the software. I'm also able to transfer images (.jpgs) and ringtones (.mp3) with no problem (the phone recognizes them as such).

But when I transfer a .jar file to my phone, it shows up in my "Other Files" instead of going to the "Install Java Software" screen so I can install the game onto my phone. I can't cut and paste the file into my Games directory.

I have read other posts on afterdawn.com, but they are for other phone models besides LG.

If someone can help, that'd be great. Will provide more info if needed. Thanx!

Oops, also forgot to add that I've tried both the "File Transfer" and "File Push" services, both transfer the .jar file to my phone but still can't install, just goes to my "Other File" folder.

Maybe there's another program I can use to transfer and install java games? Thanx again.

I have one and it looks like you can't copy a JAVA app to the phone, you have to download it from the web. I made a web page on geocities for free and simply uploaded the files to the site then went to it on my phone and downloaded them to my phone. Works like a charm.
