Installing Nero

    When I go to install Nero, it works fine up until it gets to the Cover Designer Templates and then I get an error message 'Error during installation of component Cover Designer Template'

    Is this from a downloaded source or a disc that you are installing from? Sounds like a corrupt download to me...just a shot in the dark though.

    It is from a disk that I borrowed from a friend and what is funny, is that I installed the program on her computer and no problems with it at all.

    Did that and it still wont work. its Nero 6 I am trying to install

    Is it an OEM copy? Some OEM software will only work with the drive or PC that they came bundled with.

    yes it is an OEM copy. My friend said that they got it with their DVD burner. So maybe thats why it wont work

    I cant help to wonder why it wont go past the cover design.
