Installing New Cod4 Maps Help !!!!!!!!

im tryin to install da new maps after i install it from the ps3 menu and i load cod4 up it dosn't work is there a specail way i have to install it

 

which game mode are you playing?
you have to choose the variety pack team death match etc at the bottom of the games mode list...

 

I cant even choose a mode like after i install it i load up cod4 and it still dark like i cant choose it

 

The map-packs are region coded. So the region of the map pack has to correspond with the version of the game.


Like i have a US game but live in europe, so i have no way of getting the US map-pack...

 

That must really suck. They need to do something about this.

 

You could try doing a gameshare with someone? Or would they just not work on a EU ps3?

 

well, one way is to find someone that has the similar problem but opposite, and then swap accounts temporary, (being that both have bought there regions map packs) then use those to download them.

But other than that there is really little solution available unless the packs are "opened". This has obvious risks.

PS store added a text stating "must have a x version of the game to work" but they only did that later on after people started complaining.

But yeah, it sucks.

 

I have a US Cod4 and i bought a Us Map Pack from the PS store and I TRIED INSTALLING 5 TIMES !!!!! and it still didnt work im to lazy to try it again and again cause it takes forever to download
