As suggested by many on this forum, I want to change from Nero to Recordnowmax to see if it improves my efforts into burning a dvd. I had a trial version on a cd that came with a magazine but it does not install properly, too old already I guess. So after numerous attempts and fails, I downloaded the trailversion from StompInc's website. During the setup of installation it now says: another version is installed, please remove. Althought I did not get a working version on my pc, there is a icon mentioning RecordNowMax in the software list. However, there is no option to remove it, while with all other programs in the list, there is...! I have a few Tweak programs, but none of them see this 'file'. How do I get rid of this so I can install the downloaded trial? Also got DVD2DVD-r from a german website. This does not want to install either, it also refers to RecordNowMax, can't find file 'mycdpro.msi'....what is that? I am not getting very enthusiastic about this program RecordNowMax yet, and I haven't even got a chance to try it..... Any advice?
You must clean your registry before to installl a new version of RecordNow. Download Regcleaner you can find by searching in Google or Yahoo for instance.
