Installing scanner

Hi, My wife bought a second hand scanner but it does not have instalation disc. My Acer aspire has preprogrammed installers but the Canon "CanoScan N640P ex" is not recognised. Can I install it without the disc.

 

I went looking and that scanner isn't avaliable in the US, are you in the UK??

 

If you are, go here and follow the directions, I would have taken you farther, but I didn't know what OS you had and so forth.

You can download these drivers, install them and then your device should be plug and play, or scan.
