installing softwares

    is it possible to install new softwares to a computer without the administrator's password?? if there is can someone help me do this??

    please let me know ASAP.

    If the administrator has the correct settings in place for other "user accounts" on the system then the short answer is no.
    Yes, the Administrator of the system.

    Are we talking domain (Active Directory) or workgroup (local SAM) here?

    no you have to be a administrator, and the reason they do that is so you don't get the network all mess up with spyware and viruses, also if you end up doing someting silly like that you could get banned fron the class or worse suspended
