hi all i got a video card (nvidia geforce fx 5500)for my dell dimension 3000 it fits in to the pci slot but when i connect the monitor to it i get a black screen with "cannot display this video mode" i put it in a mates computer it worked fine i'm sure i followed the steps correctly and i installed the drivers (but i had to put the monitor cable in it's original spot)can anyone help! cheers

thanks ddp for your reply!i got the card installed,i had to enter the bios menu and switch the graphics from onboard to auto .all going well now thanks anyway.
