Installing X-Ecuter 2.3B Lite Chip into v1.0 XBOX

    I am attempting to install the X-Ecuter 2.3B Lite Plus chip into my XBOX but I have solder in the holes that the chip needs to be placed in. What do I do????

    You can remove the solder with desoldering braid

    you can locate the chip onto the top of the solder, there is no need to remove it.

    I thought 2.3 Lite + was no solder?

    The chip is solderless but the motherboard of the XBOX v1.0 had solder in it. After some wiggling it worked ok.
