I would like to see them expand COD4. You know...new guns, new maps, new achievements. An add-on perhaps downloaded through the PSN. Obviously COD4's bread and butter is the online play, since the single player mode is only about 5 hrs long. If they do a new COD, they will draw everyone away from COD4 online. Eventually COD5 will arrive, I just hope that it comes out at the right time, or in other words when better graphics are possible. I think for right now, COD4 has set a benchmark in the graphics department. Spending an extra $60 for a new game without an advance in graphics or game play seems like a rip off to me. Especially when they could design and release new maps and new weapons right now. I would like to see a new map available every couple of months. Anyone else share my thoughts....or am I just crazy. Believe me I've been called worse.

I don't know if this is confirmed or not, but i heard COD5 is not going to be developed by Infitiy Ward. Therefore it might not be as good as COD4.
yeah it treyarch or what ever there called aint it.. same ones that made 3... great flying jeeps and crap gameplay again. they should miss out 5 then go to 6 back with IW lol
I read a few months back from PS3Fanboy.com that COD5 development has in fact been given back to treyarch which puzzles the crap out of me. Also I read that COD5 will be anothe WWII shooter **vomit** but this time set in the pacific. This really is disappointing as I think that everyone can agree with me that we had enough of WWII shooters.
I know this is off topic but since we are talking about COD. Was a patch released last night??? I was online and I never got prompted for a new patch to download. I read the 360 version of COD 4 got a patch yesterday 2.28.08, so when do we PS3 owners get ours??
Well the patches were given to both M$ and Sony early last week, they just had to get them ready for distribution, M$ must have had an easier time with it.
What does the patch do, or fix? My only gameplay complaint is with the sniper rifle. I am sure that we have all experienced it, you shoot a guy right through the friggin chest, but he is fine and then he kills you. Sucks! There are also a few claymore quirks. Other then that, the game is almost perfect. Needs more boards for online though.
Usually patches in these type of games involve both client and server-backbone-network changes. So sure sony will push it out asap, once they get things set up and tested out. (its in there interest to better the game.)
What bugs me is when a sniper is firing at you, on the video replay his cross hairs are nowhere near you, they are all over the place!!
Well its realistic, a light machine gun will tear you to bits, you cant expect to sacrifice realism in a game like this for gameplay's sake.
is there an easy way to be able to have people on your invite list and play them in free forall instead of just team mode.
